To report an absence, please call (925) 606-4711, then press 2. Please remember that if your student is out for three or more days, we will need a doctor’s note.

Students who have perfect attendance (no absences, no tardies and no early dismissals) will receive a perfect attendance award at the end of each trimester.

Online Math Help

Do you need help in math? On-line video help is now available at the khanacademy.com website or click HERE . 


It is important for both parents and students to register for School Loop.  Parents need a parent account, not only to follow their student's progress but also to receive important emails from the school.  The directions to register are as follows:

How to Register for School Loop

1.You will need your student’s ID number

2.  Go to the "sign-in" portion of this website (at the top on the left side).

3. Click “Register Now” then click on “Parent Registration” if you are a parent, or “Student Registration” for students.

4. Fill out the brief form and accept the user agreement.

Parents: Once you are registered and have been verified by the school you will have access to your child’s class schedule and information about each class. You may also receive daily email with information about assignments and news for the day.

PLEASE NOTE:Verification by office staff will take 2-3 working days. 


Middle School - Before and After School Program

Livermore Area Parks and Recreation (LARPD) offers a before and after school program for middle school students located on campus. PAL runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until school starts and then right after school until 6 p.m.  For more information click here.

East Avenue Book Fair

The East Avenue Middle School Book Fair is right around the corner, Tuesday, January 16th through 

Friday, January 19th. The book fair is open before and after school, as well as both lunch periods.  Our  phenomenal East Avenue Band, Orcestra and Choir led by Ms. Kathy Boster will have their Winter Concerts: Wednesday(Band) and Thursday (Orchestra and Choir) evening, January 17th & 18th.  Our Book fair will be open both evenings from 5:30-7:30pm.  Our Scholastic Book Fair is an excellent opportunity to purchase the latest titles both in non-fiction and fiction.  Get lost in a great book and visit the East Avenue book fair!

Run-A-Thon 2017-2018 Fundraiser

East students will be running laps to raise funds for EAMS Boosters which includes students, teachers, and the entire East community. This one-day, special engagement will be coming to East Avenue Middle School on Thursday, January 18th, 2018.

This is an award-winning event!! – Prizes will be awarded to students that raise the most funds, the student in each grade that completes the most laps, and to the classes that raise the greatest percentage of funds and more!


Mark your calendar with the following important fundraiser dates!


December 21st – January 16th – Ask friends, family, and close neighbors to support your efforts using the attached pledge sheet and information.  It is important to tell prospective donors that their pledges are tax deductible.


January 17th – Zero period students will participate in their run-a-thon, dress out 1/18/18.


January 18th – Participate in Unleash Your Dolphin Power Runathon 2018 during gym class.


January 19th – January 24th – Collect pledge funds from your supporters based on the laps you completed.


January 25th – Return all pledge funds to East Avenue Middle School Office.


February 5th – Prizes awarded!!


Minimum Days and Winter Break

East Avenue will be following a minimum day schedule on Dec. 20 and 21st with students released at 1:31. There will be no zero period on Dec. 21st and the office will close at 3pm.   Winter break will run Dec. 22 through January 5th.

Congratulations Mario Valdez!

Mario was nominated by Ms. May for a college scholarship from Our Children First. Mario won and  received $250.00 to put towards college.

East Avenue Sweeps D.A.R. Essay Contest

Congratulations to the winners of the Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest. East Avenue students swept the contest with a winner in each grade. The winners are 6th grader, Kaylee Olson from Mrs. Eckles core, 7th grader Emily Buttler taught by by Mrs. Beard, and representing 8th grade is Simone Laney from Ms. Lesandro's class. Each student will receive $100.00 and a certificate.
